Description: As a result of excavation work started in 2001 the first floor and partially second and third floors of the fortress are revealed. Livonian Order's castle dates from the 14th century. The ruins of the Maasi fortified castle are located off the Orissaare-Leisi road at the 4 kilometer signpost, 500 meters to the north.
