Description: The history of the building that houses the Tallinn City Museum reaches back to the 14th century. For centuries it was owned by renowned citizens – merchants and town councillors. The permanent exhibition provides an overlook of Tallinn’s history through centuries – beginning with prehistory and ending with Estonia’s regaining of independence in 1991.
