Description: Kassari chapel is a lovely, romantic building. Nowadays it is considered the only functioning stone church with a reed roof in Estonia. Presumably it originates from the 18th century, and the year 1801 inscribed on the inner wall of the chapel is associated with major reconstructions. Many famouse people in the history of the local culture have been buried in the graveyard.
