Description: The Ilumetsa craters were discovered in 1938 in the course of geological mapping. Porguhaud (“Hell’s Grave”), the biggest crater, has a diameter of 80 m and 12.5 m deep. The age is estimated to be more than 6000 years. The Sügavhaud crater (“Deep Grave”) has a diameter of 50 m and 4.5 m deep. 400 metres westward of Põrguhaud there are two smaller craters filled with turf – Tondihaud (“Gost’s Grave”) and Kuradihaud (“Devil’s Garve”).
